Retail Analytics Council Executive Development Program
Using Analytics to Develop Customer-Driven Retail Solutions
The Executive Development Program is being organized and will be led by the Retail Analytics Council, an initiative combining leading experts from Medill’s Integrated Marketing Communications department, Northwestern University, and the Platt Retail Institute.
The program’s aim is to provide attendees with a platform to:
(a) See and discuss the most current academic and professional omni-channel research, hear and learn from leading experts in the field about retail analytics in an omni-channel environment.
(b) Set and shape the direction for research, and discuss research needs in the marketplace.
(c) Interact with retail analytic researchers and thought leaders from around the world.
Sessions are planned on current best practices, use of new research tools, global trends, and organizing for success. All sessions will be conducted by experienced professionals and academics. There will also be ample opportunity to interact with retailers and network with industry leaders.
The Executive Development Program will address the following topics: how to develop a customer-driven marketing communications framework, how to bring digital metrics to retail environments, how to capture insights from historical data, and how to create an organizational structure that works in omni-channel.
