Kingshuk K. Sinha is a Professor of Operations and Management Science at the
Carlson School of Management and holds the Carlson Family Foundation
Professorship. He received an interdisciplinary Ph.D. in Operations Management
and Strategic Management from The University of Texas at Austin. Professor Sinha’
s research interests lie at the intersection of Management of Technology and
Operations Strategy. The topics of his current research projects are related to
management of technology at the firm boundaries – i.e, technologies via which firms
connect, coordinate, and collaborate with its customers and trading partners in the
supply chain. Professor Sinha’s research has appeared in journals such as Academy
of Management Journal, Annals of Operations Research, European Journal of
Operational Research, Interfaces, Journal of Operations Management, Journal of
Service Research, Management Science, Manufacturing & Service Operations
Management, and Production and Operations Management. He is currently serving
as Secretary and Board Member of the Production and Operations Management
Society, as an Associate Editor of Production and Operations Management, and as
the guest editor for the journal’s Special Issue on High Technology Production and
Operations Management.
