THE INSTITUTE SERVICES

Research Services: The Retail Institute, in conjunction with its Research Fellows,
will engage in the following Research activities:

1. Research particular topics on behalf of clients which may result in either white              
    papers for general industry distribution or proprietary Research for the benefit of         
    a client.

2. Seek to expose clients to the research/expertise of its Research Fellows to                  
    create a demand for Research that will find commercial applications.

Executive Education Services: The Retail Institute will, in conjunction with its
Research Fellows, lead targeted educational sessions on specific subjects that
require the depth of knowledge and expertise of our Research Fellows.

Consulting Services: Research Fellows will also act as consultants to the industry on
strategy and marketing related issues.
